Ship HubSpot work at the
speed you think.
Your AI assistant already writes code and drafts plans. Connect it to the Works by Design HubSpot documentation — hundreds of hours of real build and troubleshooting experience — and it does that work the way HubSpot is actually built: UI extensions, CMS modules, quote templates and complete apps from scratch, or existing code brought in line with best practice. Works from the Claude app, Claude Code or Codex, whether you develop daily or you're describing your first build in plain English. Read-only, per-person, revocable.
Why it matters
Answers grounded in how it's built
A generic assistant guesses at HubSpot's newer surfaces — the 2026 project platform, serverless quirks, quote modules, association typeIds — and quietly gets them wrong. Here it reads the verified guidance first, so what it produces is deployable, not plausible-looking.
Fewer false starts on every build
Demo builds, portal setups, quote templates and custom modules that would mean digging through threads or waiting on a specialist instead get the right pattern in seconds. The rework you avoid is time back on the work that matters.
One source of truth for the whole team
Everyone's assistant works from the same current documentation, so a new joiner and a seasoned builder reach the same answer. The playbook stays live — update it once and every connected assistant reflects it.
Access that stays accountable
Granted per approved email, strictly read-only, and switched off the moment it's no longer needed. Keys expire on their own and every request is logged — accountable access, never an open door.
How it works
Add the server
In the Claude app it's one URL pasted into a connector — no terminal, nothing to install. For Claude Code or Codex it's one copy-paste line. There is no key to copy — the client handles the credential itself.
Sign in once
Your client opens a browser sign-in. Confirm your approved work email, click the one-time link, and the connection completes — no account, no password, nothing to paste.
Just ask
Ask the way you normally would — "build a quote module for this deal", "why is this serverless function returning empty". Your assistant reads the relevant docs, then answers and builds from them.
Optional: add the demo tooling
On Claude Code with demo-methodology access, one command installs our plugin — and your assistant builds branded demo pages, run sheets and workspaces to our standard. The exact steps are in the setup guide.
Works with the assistant you already use
- Claude web & desktop — add it as a connector, no terminal needed; ideal if you don't live in a code editor
- Claude Code — CLI, the VS Code extension, and the desktop app's Claude Code section, all from one setup line
- Codex — connect it to the same documentation with one entry in your config
- Nothing to install — no software footprint on your machines or infrastructure beyond the one-line connection
- Demo tooling on Claude Code — the optional demo-builder plugin runs on Claude Code; Codex reads the same methodology docs directly
Access & security at a glance
- Approved email addresses only — access is granted per person and can be revoked instantly
- Read-only — the connection reads documentation and nothing else; it cannot touch your CRM, your systems, or your data
- Per-install OAuth, no shared keys — each client holds its own short-lived credential that renews itself; there is no long-lived key to leak or paste
- Fully audited — every request is logged with the requester and a timestamp
